I created!!! The birthday card and bookmark for my reading-loving nephew. I bought the papers with him in mind. I also have a couple dies that are books in bookcases, and just books. I should get busy and make some bookplates for him with those. The letters for "read" are from a set of dies. I really like them, but wish they had them in uppercase, too.

Candee , that looks great.
I stitched while I ate breakfast . Then I shopped at Jo’s . DH had to go to woodcraft for something and he dumped me off at Jo’s and told me to have fun. No problem. Then I went to Aldi and started grocery shopping. Their prices are the best. DH caught up to me in Aldi . I wish I thought to grab a photo. It’s like shopping with a two year old. He had his arms loaded with raisin bread, two boxes of cookies, crackers, chips, dip and a bag of chocolate. Then when we were in line, he went back and got snack cakes. I actually told him to “stop it”

He takes FOREVER. I can get through the whole store in the time it takes him to look at produce and meat.

He usually picks out cookies, crackers and ice cream bars or cones too.

Today’s project is stitching on my layout. I was up early this morning poking the holes and stitched it while the lasagna was baking for dinner.

I was at our Jos yesterday, and there was hardly anything TH, let alone any on sale, or clearance. The clearance TH stuff disappears VERY quickly. It's hardly worth it to go in any more. I tried using two coupons, but... one was no good because the item was already on sale, which I didn't know because there was no sign (a common occurrence at our Jos), and the other was for $5.00 off an order of $35. or more. Unfortunately, because several of the items I had were on sale, that coupon was no good, either. I don't get how people can stack coupons at their Jos. Ours doesn't let customers do that. Any way, I did get three (all they had left) "scrapbook boxes" for $4.99 each, which was $10.00 off each!

Love the paper!

I started another layout by picking pictures and sketch. Tried to find paper but not liking what I've found. So I cleaned up my scrapping area and then made some hole reinforcers for the tags I'll be stamping for either the Alaska album or the Zion National Park album.

Did you read something about Bazzill? yes you said in your post you got 40 sheets at $.32/piece. I haven’t seen their cardstock in a store in a long time. The Jo’s at Christiana Delaware has it, not a huge selection and you have to go through it sheet by sheet because I find areas that are damaged. One whole tray of blue was damaged because some one put the entire stack in sideways and bent all the corners.

BRPC now carries AC, which, in my opinion, isn't as good. I'm glad I stocked, stocked, stocked up since I started scrapbooking back in 2001. Once I was introduced to it, I bought as much as I could, when I could. Most of my basic cardstock is Bazzil.
