I forgot to buy a souvenir from NYC a few weeks ago. I wanted a magnet or an ornament or se one thing. So I made my own. Used my oval die cutter to cut the lid of the bakery box we brought home. (It was filled with Cannolis) then I glued on tinsel and decorated with red and green rhinestones. Perfect and I saved money. My stash has made itself useful Very clever, and pretty! Nice way to use something that would have otherwise been trash. I've been watching a YouTuber who makes a bunch of decorative stuff from thrift store and Dollar Tree finds. Your ornament is something she would make. Kind of a "vintage" theme with the gold garland. Another of my "goals" - use some scraps to make Christmas tree ornaments. I saw a YouTuber making an ornament a day this December. I can’t remember her name but her stuff was pretty.
