You are granted a free day off! But there is a catch, you have to spend the whole day in either a museum, a library or a zoo. Which would you pick?

Depends on weather-zoo if good to be outside, museum if good to be inside.

Museum and I vote the Smithsonian! I really want to go back to DC again anyway. It might take more than one free day though.

They are all good choices! But I would pick the museum - especially the Smithsonian! Sure wish I had made the time to take DH to the Air & Space Museum when we could have gone. He wanted to see the Star Trek Model they used for the Television series.

San Diego Main Public Library. Want to go through their micrifiche collection of San Diego Sun newspapers. My Mom's Paternal Grand Aunt wrote a music column back in the day - under a nom de plume, I think. I'd really like to have a batch of them to share with my cousins.

Zoo for me too. I love the animals and so does the entire family. We always have such a good day.
I really enjoy going to new zoos in cities when we go on vacation. Though I would like to go back to the National Zoo in DC and the Sedgwick County Zoo in Kansas

They are really special - their animals were all rescued after unfortunate encounters with people... they have been having special exhibits more often of late - lifesize dino statues a while back that you could climb on... a ropes course all across the Zoo... etc. And they have a picnic area when you are finished with your tour. Check them out: ttps://www.elmwoodparkzoo.org/
