Thank you Gayle for sparking our interest. I have it down to three choices. Should I pick from a hat or just keep thinking. I can over think things. . Who else is joining in.

Yes,I'm doing it! I think I will paper craft 15 minutes a day. Paper crafting could be layouts, cards, tags, etc. I still haven't done the stamp class I bought from Heidi Swapp. That's going to be a big part of this 100 day project.

I’ve been thinking the same thing. In fact, I had already started doing that just because I was struggling to find time to get in my craft room. It’s been working! There are so many projects I would like to do and there never seems to be enough time. I want to get back to playing and practicing with my art supplies like my distress inks, sprays, markers, colored pencils, pastes, stamps, stencils, etc. When I use them it makes me happy and feel better about spending money on them! Are we starting on Feb 18th?

I know one thing I am going to do is start the scrap quilt that I have been planning on making for a couple of years. I am planning on using scraps of fabrics from all the sewing projects that I have done for business/personal and mixing in old fabric from clothing. It is sure going to be a crazy quilt. This will also me my first attempt at a quilt.

Okay, I'm going to give it a try, but please don't hold me to it! LOL I want to just do something creative every day - be it digi scrapping, paper scrapping, or maybe starting the yarn project.
I got a good start today! I actually paper scrapped!

The creator of the 100 Day Project did it to enhance the creative process in her life as a paid artist. Although most of us don't get paid for our creativity we still benefit in different ways. The following is an excerpt from the newsletter I got today as the first day of the project. Just some interesting things to think about.
A few questions to get you started:
- How would you define your creative practice? What are the most important elements of it? - Where do you see creativity in your life other than your art practice? - What do you need for your creative practice to feel nourished and supportive? - What habits and rituals feel like they serve your creativity? - How does your creativity serve you in other parts of your life? - Are you intentional about supporting your creative process and practice outside of your art-making time?
After doing some physical exercises, I'm going to start (over) my stamping class. I'm looking forward to learning to stamp better!

PXL_20240218_195751802 by Gayle Churches, on Flickr PXL_20240218_195743973 by Gayle Churches, on Flickr This is the practice of using all the stamps to get used to putting on the ink and how much pressure to use. Most of these inks had not been used yet and non of the stamps have been used. I did not get very good images. Tomorrow I will start on Lesson 4 of 15. A year ago I watched lessons 1-3 but never did any stamping. Why do I buy stuff and never complete it? Do you need to "season" stamps? I don't have a black archival ink. I use the Stampin' Up black craft but it's pretty old. I may have to invest in that.
