Hope everyone had a happy leap day! What did you create today? I got out my 8 x 10 Gel Plate and used it to make some paper to back my photos and create a tag for the layout I posted in Digging Thru Our Stash T, U, V. I wanted it to match the paper I used so I used Black Soot distress oxide and Old Paper distress ink and applied a weave design using an embossing folder to the plate. I really need to work with that Gel Plate more! Here's the tag which I added some Twisted Citron Distress oxide through a leaf stencil and stamped some music notes on it.

I need to play with my Geli Plates more. I like the colors, and the leaves.

I missed today. By the time I had any free time the family room was too dark to stitch

No crafting for me, but I did get my glitter tubes "fixed".
I have most of my glitter in glass "tubes" that I bought from HL. They are closed with corks. Some of the corks go quite deeply into the tubes, making them difficult to get out. So....., my fix was to use itty bitty eye screws. They work fantastically! I can grab the eyes and pull, and the corks come out easily, without, as I was afraid, pulling through the corks. YAY!
