I appliquéd a cat on to the top of a Halloween quilt that I am working on. Appliqué is something I struggle with so , one little cat took the whole day.

I made a card using a stamping through a stencil technique. The original card was posted by KampaKreations.com. She used GinaK products that I just happen to have! I used a different background stamp and a different color for the card but the rest is just like hers. So first she embossed the stencil with her die cut machine then ink blended with a blending brush and lastly put it in her Misti and stamped the background stamp in a darker color through the stencil onto the card panel. Definitely a neat technique I'll use again!

This is what I've been working on for two days. I added some stamping, the one flower I stamped right onto the yellow cardstock after it was already glued down. I'm pretty excited with how it turned out. The photo didn't turn out that well though. I posted this in the color challenge too. PXL_20240304_011723453 by Gayle Churches, on Flickr

Got the laptop sleeve done. . Awesome. Did you use a patterned fabric? If so what is it and what color?
