I have been working on this birthday card for my grandson. His birthday is a week from Saturday and the theme for his party is Lucky Duck. I copied this from a clip art site and cut it out on my Silhouette last week. I colored it yesterday with my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers. Later last night I decided to add some flock to the inside of his belly. Had a bit of a craftastrophe when the whole drawer fell out and dumped out several containers of flock into the carpet. So after I vacuumed my room I finally got that part done. Today I did the rest of the card including taking some old faded mint green cardboard thickers and adding blue alcohol ink to them and blue Stickles. At least it looks something like the picture I had in my head!

I got a zippered bag done that was not shop-related but will be for a gift.

IMG_5168 by Gabriella B, on Flickr Mandi inspired me with her coloring the other day . So I printed (and for once did not fight with the printer) I am just practicing and it feels good to not have a goal in mind but rather just play and improve my skills

I’m sorry about the drawer falling , I guess at least the floor is clean now.

Just practicing does seem less stressful at times.

Here's the layout I've been working on for the last few days. This title really gave me a fit. LOVE that background! Nicely done, Gayle!

One of my favorite pieces of patterned paper from VB! Love the design and all the pretty embellies you got on their. Your title is so cool! Well worth the effort.
