I got a good amount of the scrap pile cut into squares now. I should have rest of it cut down tomorrow.

I was given a bag of scraps from a friend in January. I finally went through it. I'm amazed at how many papers she had that I've never seen before. Then I started on the Sketch challenge.

BRPC has a scrap box in their die cutting area. I'm always surprised at the papers I see in there. They HAVE to be shopping elsewhere! LOL

I spent several hours working on a project for my pastor’s wife. She wants raindrops with 8 different blessing scriptures on them in multiple shades of blue for our Mother Daughter banquet this year. The theme is Showers of Blessings. I found some raindrop shapes online and imported them into my Silhouette library. I found 8 scriptures I thought would work well. Then I tried to figure out how I could print the scriptures and then cut them out on my Silhouette to fit inside the raindrops.
I finally got some samples done for her so I can take them to church on Sunday. I’m not real thrilled with them. They are too simple for all the effort I put into them.
Then it was dinner time and after dinner I just could not think of anything to do and my hip had been bothering me all day anyway. So I just played games on my phone and watched a couple of YouTube videos for the rest of the evening.

See my Pooh rant. I did. You are not alone. I struggle quite often with my projects. I think we all have our bad days. Still love this hobby though. When it comes out right it is so satisfying!

You are so right! I think, because of my rotten fingers, things just kind of "escalated" and I got extremely frustrated. But, I got the pocket in, and that blasted album is DONE! Whew! Onward!
