I finished my layout for the Double Sketch challenge for this month and posted it. I colored a little image on it with my colored pencils of two little precious moments children kneeling and saying their prayers. And then I decided to attempt some more watercolor for my watercolor journal. It looks like a little child did it as usual but I might as well embrace it. I used gelatos for my watercolor after watching a video on gelatos on a Scrapbook.com class last night. I liked how easy they were to work with and mix the colors. I also watched a video on painting a landscape - hers looks a whole lot better than mine!

I think it's the details. Watercolors are made for layering. Don't give up on it. Just add details/layers. THAT'S what I need to learn - how to layer them. It's an odd "comfort level" thing, I think. At least it is for me. Hang in there! You have a good eye, and I bet you will get it in no time.

I was back at organizing. But, only for a bit. LOL SQUIRREL!
I found an album for Dad that I had started years ago. Why I never finished it is beyond me. It's only an 8x8, with not a lot of pictures. We had taken him to the Okoboji Classic Cars museum. He had a blast!
Any way, I had started it, and had all the stuff in an envelope, which I came across yesterday. So, instead of working, I decided to play.

Just getting in our craft room and doing whatever you want to do.

I'm really amazed that y'all are still at it. Everyday would be hard. I sometimes go a week without stirring the air in there. Keep going!
